We are looking for people from across Pembrokeshire who are willing to offer the spare seats in their car to people who need a lift.
To become a Take Me Too! driver, you must:
- Be aged 18 or over
- Hold a full valid driving licence, with no more than 6 penalty points on your licence for minor driving offences.
- Have access to a car which is taxed, insured and has a current MOT.
- Live in Pembrokeshire or regularly travel in and around the county.
Once registered as a Take Me Too! driver, we’ll contact you if we receive a journey request that we think you might be able to help with. We won’t expect you to make a special trip, but if you’re going that way anyway you might like to offer a lift.
Giving lifts is a great thing to do for you and your community. Passengers really appreciate your help and they will expect to pay their share, so you will also get a contribution towards the cost of the journey - Take Me Too will send you both a suggested amount based on the journey mileage, so everyone is clear before the lift takes place.
Once you are registered with Take Me Too!, you can also post your own journey requests. Great if your car is unavailable, you are unable to drive, or you just fancy the companionship of travelling with someone else.
