Hi Everyone, Welcome to this group Pembrokeshire Care Share & Give is a Non Profit Charity ( Charity No 1175646) that has been set up to try and help lots of charities and people in need, mainly within Pembrokeshire, but hope to move further afield to surrounding areas of wales, who need that extra help if needed. Times are hard for everyone, but it has been set up by Amanda Absalom-Lowe of Haverfordwest to get the word out that most things are recyclable and it can raise money for charity along the way.
You can firstly help by recycling your household or Business rubbish. You can recycle every day waste like Coffee lids and packaging , Tassimo pods and packaging, kenco refill packaging, any brand biscuit wrappers, any brand yogurt and baby food pouches, air freshener tops & Air freshener Plug in’s including Packaging & cleaning wipes. Even Old mobile phones and Laptops can be passed on! your used stationary, used Postage Stamps. Any Unwanted things like clothes, shoes, unwanted household items ( not white goods or large items), Bric a Brac, Toys and lots more!
Any good clothes , shoes, Bric a Brac etc donated new, like new or good condition items may be sold on auctions , groups, carboots etc and anyone can make a purchase, offer or bid. The money raised is then granted to charities, or food, toiletries and household items are bought for those in need. New toys are bought for various Xmas Toy appeals which are donated to Patch Charity, 3 Amigos and The Hospital Children’s Ward within Wales, Including The Children Hospital in Bristol. Second hand and good quality toys are also donated to the Ronald Macdonald House for their xmas toy sale.
A great deal of items are also donated to charities, like raffle prizes and Items taken to charity shops to sell. Old Tatty clothes or rags as they call them are also taken and weighed to cash in.
If you have any unwanted house hold items New or Used, these will be donated to Patch charity or families needing new items due to unfortunate fires and loosing their home. Items are also bought for homeless emergency packs or those in need and are made up ready to donate when needed. Items are also donated to help people start up their own home.
Items are also purchased to send Shoe Boxes to our Heros, when they are on deployment away from their families. Sometime items donated are re-used to help Community or School programmes like a Sensory Garden or a buddy bench or painting etc.
We even help Animal Rescue Centres!

1. To contribute to the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment in Pembrokeshire in particular by
a) promoting sustainable waste management through the recycling of waste which may otherwise go to landfill and
b) advancing the education of the public in Pembrokeshire concerning recycling and waste management through a programme of talks, seminars, workshops and other means and
c) providing recycling opportunities to the public, businesses, statutory authorities and educational establishments.
2. Relieve those in need, by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial or other disadvantage in particular by the provision of grants or donation of items to individuals or to charitable organisations supporting those in need; and
3. To relive the suffering of animals in need of care and attention in particular by the provision of grants or donation of items to animal sanctuaries.
