Ffynhonnell-Wellspring is an an immersive wellspring for Women's Health and Wellbeing. Coordinated by Vere Experiences CIC working in collaboration with partners across Pembrokeshire, activity builds on the Connecting Realities and VR Inclusive Mental Health Interventions projects which have been established within the region for the past four years.
Virtual reality sessions, held in our Goodwick HQ and also hosted by partners, enable you to anchor yourself in limitless locations and explore natural and community wellbeing spaces on your doorstep and around the world. Experiences can be shared and expressed with others to develop a stronger sense of community between individuals. Developed to address healthcare inequalities and isolation within pembrokeshire, the three core strands of the project are;
Meditative experiences- Use of tailored breath-scapes to enhance a feeling of calm, and resilience.
Pain management - interactive experiences created for people experiencing chronic pain with a focus on conditions affecting women.
Carer VR - an immersive tool designed to help support unpaid carers through OT led interactive lessons in care techiques and equipment use.
