We’re launching a brand-new, volunteer-led, telephone listening service called Listen and Connect. This service is for older people who may be experiencing feelings of loneliness and isolation. Volunteers will provide a safe space where people are listened to and supported to explore the issues that are important to them.

What will I be doing as a Listening Connect Volunteer?

You will be offering a listening ear to callers from the comfort of your own home.

Who are we looking for?

Volunteers who want to make a difference and connect with older people. Volunteers must have access to a smart phone, laptop or tablet with headphones.  We are keen to attract volunteers who are able to offer a minimum of three hours a week and full training along with ongoing support will be provided by Age Cymru.

For more information visit: www.agecymru.org.uk

To apply: telephone: 07425 422 683 or email: CAPlisten@agecymru.org.uk

For general queries about the project in general please email Harriet Horn: harriet.horn@agecymru.org.uk

We look forward to hearing from you.
