Pembrokeshire Junior Safeguarding is a group that aims to make Pembrokeshire a safe place for young people.
It is a group for those 11-25 years old.
The group meet monthly to discuss various things around educating young people of what the meaning of safeguarding is and also work around the issues that young people highlight that need more awareness. Topics that Junior Safeguarding have worked on are:
- County lines
- Stay safe online and social media
- Child sexual exploitation
- Bullying
The group has also worked on making information accessible for young people such as creating young people friendly safeguarding training.
The group meet once a month during term time on a Wednesday evening 4:30pm - 6:00pm in Pembrokeshire County Hall.
