Jeff Towns is joining us to talk about his new book, The Wilder Shores of Dylan Thomas, a series of essays on Wales' much-loved writer.

Come join us for an evening of all things Dylan Thomas from 'The Dylan Thomas Guy'. Jeff Towns is one of the world’s leading Dylan Thomas experts. Jeff’s Dylan Thomas collections sit in museums and institutions from Kyoto in Japan, to Texas, via San Francisco and all the way from Abertawe to Aberystwyth & the National Library of Wales. His Dylan Thomas exhibitions have hung in Barcelona and at the Royal National Theatre in London and are a permanent fixture in The Dylan Thomas Centre Swansea.

Jeff is still an active and evergreen antiquarian bookseller, a published author, a public speaker, documentary maker, regular media commentator across the written press, TV & radio, and more recently an artistic consultant specialising in all things Dylan. When it comes to Dylan Thomas, Jeff is your man.

'There is interest here on every page and references to send you off to something else. I found myself reaching my shelves to re-read Howl by Alan Ginsberg on the strength of an account of his first (unsuccessful) meeting with Dylan. This book is eclectic. My favourite new fact is that Dylan won the school Mile on sports day two years in succession... [It] is a joy to handle and a luscious source of pleasure.' - Desmond Clifford, Nation Cymru
