Here I Am
One of Mencap's biggest ever promotional projects, was the iconic 'Here I Am' campaign, created by London advertising agency The Corner. Ostensibly a human rights rallying cry, 'Here I Am' aimed to educate and promote the closer integration of people with a learning disability within modern social culture.

The TV and cinema commercial was shot by acclaimed director Ed Morris of Rattling Stick, and the photo shoot led by renowned photographer Rankin. Designer Anthony Burrill, known for his persuasive, up-beat style of communication, created the “Here I Am” design which acted as the key visual for the entire movement.
