Picton Castle Gardens is a unique historic setting. The 800 year old castle is Grade 1* sitting at the heart of 50 acres of magnificant gardens, which themselves are listed under the Register of Historic Gardens.
The castle and gardens are owned and managed by the Picton Castle Trust. The Trust is a small charity whose purpose is to restore and maintain the castle and gardens for the benefit of the people of Wales. The Picton Castle Trust does not receive public money and all its work is paid for through daily admission fees.
We are always looking for new volunteers to help us in all our activities, including working in the garden and as tour guides, showing people around the castle. We have a range of activies that people of all ages and all levels of fitness can participate in. We provide training and support to all new volunteers and volunteering at Picton Castle Gardens is both social and supportive. If you are interested in exploring our volunteering opportunities please get in touch via email or phone.
We frequently organise small events, workshops and classes, covering a range of interests from horticulture, to weaving, pottery to painting. Details of these events can be found on our website or the events page on Connect Pembrokeshire.
