Re-engage is a national charity in its 60th year, dedicated to reducing loneliness and isolation in later life, for people aged 75 and older.

 

The charity brings people together for regular, free to access, in-person social groups, and offers telephone befriending services, as well as online social gatherings.

Guests attending an in-person activity are collected from their home by a volunteer driver and taken to the host venue where they enjoy refreshments, occasional activities and always, conversation and companionship.

 

Re-engage supports thousands of older people across England, Scotland and Wales, thanks to a network of nearly 9,000 volunteers. In Wales, around 45 groups currently support over 1,000 lonely or isolated older people, with the aim of reaching even more.

Re-engage's services help older people living with loneliness to stay connected, be part of a community, and feel less isolated.
