Llys-y-frân lake offers visitors an outdoor adventure with mountain biking, pump skills area, walking trails, water and land activities, fishing and adventure playground. The modern visitor centre, activity centre and café were opened in 2021 with the 4 star Lakeview Campsite opening in 2023. With over 350 acres to enjoy we have an exciting range of land activities for all ages and abilities. Learn the ancient art of axe throwing or have a go at archery. Or tackle our 7m climbing wall. Another highlight is our Crazi-Bugz, six-wheeled off-road buggies for young adventurers. With over 200 acres of lake, there’s room for everyone to enjoy water activities at Llys-y-frân! An adventure on the water is guaranteed, whether you join us as a family, a group of friends or an individual. We have plenty of equipment for you to hire, including paddle boards, kayaks and canoes. If you have your own kit and are confident on the water, you can simply pay and play with our self-launch option. Enjoy a warming drink, slice of cake or a hot meal from our seasonal menu at Lakeside Café. Open 7 days a week all year. Water activities seasonal.
