Haverfordwest Film Society is one of Britain's most successful film societies, with over 60 members and a range of film screenings to satisfy even the keenest of cinema buffs. Our society belongs to Cinema for All, which was previously the British Federation of Film Societies
The venue for our meetings is The Merlin Theatre in Pembrokeshire College, Haverfordwest. Films are shown there on Thursday evenings at 7.30 p.m., with a bar open from 6.45 p.m selling coffee, wine, snacks.
Membership is via subscription, or a competitive entry price of up to £5 per session.
Everyone is welcome.
We show approximately 20 films per season, extending from September through to March.
They include foreign films not available locally, and are carefully researched.
Audience feedback indicates high satisfaction with our programme.
