Boncath Hall

Welcome to Boncath Hall!

Boncath Community Hall

Boncath is a small attractive village in a rural farming community within a few miles of the towns of Crymych, Cardigan and Newcastle Emlyn. It was once an intermediate stop on the rail link between Whitland and Cardigan which closed during the Beeching Axe of 1963. In those busy days the station was an important hub for timber and agricultural produce. There is now a village shop, Post Office and a pub, the Boncath Inn.

The Hall

In 1990 a local community committee in partnership with an old YMCA facility in the village, succeeded in securing grant funding for a new community village hall. The new building was completed in 2000 and now offers excellent modern facilities for a wide range of activities.

There is the main hall function room, a committee room, a kitchen, and a sports changing room. There are toilet facilities appropriate for all. Disabled access is accommodated as there are no steps or ramps and a dedicated restroom.
