The Old School at Dinas Cross was generously gifted to the people of Dinas Cross by the Barony of Kemaes, who, in the 19th Century, originally gave the land to the community of Dinas Cross to build a school. It is now administered by Trustees and run by an elected Management Committee. If you would like to, you may become a friend of Yr Hen Ysgol Dinas and make regular donations. Any proceeds are spent on the upkeep of the old school. Recent major developments include replacing flat roofs with pitched roofs, replacing ill-fitting windows, renovating damp walls and creating a rear access lobby.
