The Old School, Eglwyswrw was purchased by the village in 1985 from Pembrokeshire County Council. Having made the purchase many years of fundraising followed before obtaining a lottery grant which meant the renovation could go ahead.
In 1998 the Old school re opened as a Community Centre and has since been run by Eglwyswrw Village Association.
The following organisations meet in the Old school on a regular basis:
Ysgol Feithrin (4 days a week in term time)
Cylch Ti a Fi (once a week)
WI. ( once a month)
Eglwyswrw Heritage Society (once a month)
Knit and Natter (Once a week)
Bingo (once a week)
Coffee morning (once a month)
Eglwyswrw Village Association operates an Inclusion Policy as follows:

that our organisation is representative of all sections of society. Everybody will

This policy reinforces our commitment to providing equality and fairness to all
in our community and not provide less favourable facilities or treatment on the
grounds of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership,
pregnancy and maternity, race, ethnic origin, colour, nationality, national
origin, religionor belief, or sex and sexual orientation. We are opposed to all
forms of unlawful and unfair discrimination.
All committee members, users of the hall and visitors, no matter whether they
are residents of our community or not, will be treated fairly and with respect.
Eglwyswrw Village Community are committed:-

is in operation and that they are obligated to comply with its requirements andn promote fairness.

Eglwyswrw Hall operates with a set of conditions for hire, including specific Covid-19 conditions that all hirers are expected to abide by - you will be provided with these conditions upon booking; please note it is the hirers responsibility to ensure that all persons observe these conditions.
